Linda has been the NPA Secretary since September 2015. In 2004 she became a Courtesy Boat Inspector and eventually a certified Invasive Plant Patroller. In 2014 Linda learned (and is still learning) how to be the LakeSmart Coordinator for North and Little Ponds hoping to educate shoreline property owners on buffers to prevent erosion and phosphorus from affecting the water quality of our pond.
Kelly has served on the North Pond Board for a number of years and participates in the Annual Loon Count and Invasive Plant Patrol. She and her family built and maintain one of the Loon Platform Nests on the lake. Her favorite activity on North Pond is to paddleboard the Great Meadow Stream in the early morning and evening hours. Kelly lives in New Hampshire with her husband Paul but tries to spend as much time as she can on the Pond.
Tom has owned land in Rome on North Pond since 1988. He built his home in 2005 and joined the North Pond Association board of directors in 2018. Tom’s family enjoys their weekends on the pond and getting to know the people and places of central Maine. Although they currently reside in Massachusetts, Tom and his family are eagerly anticipating becoming full time North Ponders.

My wife Nancy and I have resided on the lake since 2002. I am known as the “T-shirt guy”. I have the co- coordinator of the bottle/can recycle committee since 2011.
Louise Proulx has been on the lake for part of the summer for 50 plus years, raising a family and now grandchildren appreciating North pond. Dave and I decided to be actively involved in the NPA with a desire to assist in maintaining the quality of our lake. I became treasurer in 2002 and held that position until 2016. As treasurer, I was actively involved in all Annual Meetings and other organizational fund raising. Also became a courtesy boat inspector and encouraged grandchildren to do the same. We need to preserve our lake, remain free of milfoil, help preventing algae blooms by planting buffers and decreasing any additional phosphorus. Help save our lake!
George Fowler, my wife, Lori, two dogs, Hannah and Grace, built on North Pond three years ago. We spent 43 years in Hampden where Lori nursed at EMMC and I sold commercial trucks. We are year round residents and I have been on the board going for two years. Nickname , “the bottle boy.”

I have enjoyed North Pond since 1981, when my parents, Roger and Jean Allen purchased the family camps. We all love and appreciate the beauty and variety of the pond. I am happy to have the opportunity to give back to the lake through the North Pond Association board. The mission to protect, preserve and educate is one I feel very strongly about, and I am glad to be supporting this through all our activities offered and hope everyone on the lake takes advantage of them!
I am new to the NPA board and became interested in being on the board of directors after attending the Are You Buff Enough? How to Become LakeSmart-er Workshop. The work the NPA does has helped me improve my property for the 4 years I have lived on the lake. North Pond has always been a part of my summers and winters and that is why I am going to do my best to help protect and preserve it along with educating others about how all of us in our watershed can do their part!
My family has been on the Little Pond part of North Pond for generations. We enjoy everything about our home away from home. I have been on the NPA board for 2 years. I have been a Loon counter and active member to help make our lake great!
